Drummer Farms Gazette

Bimonthly Vol. VIII No. 2 April 2013

Sale of Your Unit

If you are planning to sell your unit please be aware and inform your real estate agent (if you have one) that units in Drummer Farms must be owneroccupied for a minimum of 1 year before the unit can be rented. (Refer to page 4 of the Drummer Farms Handbook). As a courtesy, the Board and Alpine request that you let them know in advance if you are going to put your unit on the market.

Pool Time

Summer is just around the corner and the pool will be ready for your enjoyment soon.

Pursuant to the Board of Health requirements, all semi-public pool operators MUST test the pool water four (4) times a day and record the test results in a logbook.

The testing process is very simple and takes less than five (5) minutes to complete. There are no requirements as to what time of the day each tests should be performed.

To that end, we need volunteers! If you are interested in being a volunteer please email Kris Boyle, at kmb@alpinemanagement.com and let her know what day of the week would be best for you. If you cannot commit to one day a week, please consider volunteering to be a "back up".

Pet Reminder

Please remember that pets are not permitted in the common areas without a leash. All dogs must be licensed and inoculated, as required by law. In case of an accident, it is the dog owner's responsibility to scoop up their dog's dropping and dispose of the waste in a proper receptacle.

Resident's Corner

This section of the newsletter is reserved for all residents of Drummer Farms. If you have any announcements (i.e., blessed with a child, got engaged, married, etc.) and would like to share the joyous news with others in the community, please mail in the information.

Property Management Plus has completed the spring clean up and will be installing the mulch in the next few weeks.

Please help to make their job easier during the landscaping season by keeping all personal items including toys, lawn furniture, etc. off the lawn. Questions or comments about the landscapers' work performance should be reported to Alpine or one of the Trustees. Unit owners are requested not to confront the contractor's staff while they are on site

Common Play Area

Now that the weather is getting better and more residents will be outdoors, please make sure that you are considerate of your neighbors. While we encourage kids to be active and play outdoors, please make sure that an adult is supervising the children and they are respectful of other people's personal belongings as well as equipment belonging to the condominium association. Please do not allow your children to run through other yards and you MUST make sure that the children's toys are cleaned up and stored away when not in use. This includes bikes and strollers as well. We appreciate your cooperation.

Smoke Detectors

Now is a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. At the same time it would be good to give them a vacuuming because dust builds up in them, which can cause them to malfunction.
