Bimonthly Vol. VI No. 3 June 2011

Pool

Summer is just around the corner and the pool is ready for your enjoyment. The pool hours are 9 AM to 8 PM daily.

Pursuant to the Board of Health (BOH) requirements, all semi-public pool operators MUST test the pool water four (4) times a day and record the test results in a logbook.

The BOH officials have the right to inspect the logbook at any time and to shut down the pool for any non-compliance. Depending on the severity of the infraction, the pool shutdown could be as short as a day or for as long as the remainder of the pool season.

Currently, we have enough pool testers, however, if you are interested in becoming a „back-up‟, please call Alpine for more details. We want to give a huge Thank You to the current volunteers for giving their time and service to keep the pool operating properly.

Landscaping

As you probably already know, the Board awarded the grounds contract to Property Management Plus. Both the landscaping and the snow plowing contracts were put out to bid, but PMP came back with the best proposal for both services for a three year contract. Additionally, we were able to lock in pricing for the next three years which will help with budgeting.

Questions or comments about the landscaper's work performance should be reported to Alpine or one of the Trustees. Unit owners are requested not to confront the contractor's staff while they are on site.

Pet Reminder

Please remember that pets are not permitted in the common areas without a leash. All dogs must be licensed and inoculated, as required by law. In case of an accident, it is the dog owner's responsibility to scoop up their dog's dropping and dispose of the waste in a proper receptacle.

Basketball

Next time you drop off your trash, take a look at the brand new basketball hoop that was recently installed. Hopefully, this will give the kids around the complex a nice area to play in if they are tired of the pool. Now all we need is a little nice weather!

Speed Limit

The speed limit at Drummer Farms is 10 mph. Residents should be mindful of children playing throughout the community. So, please spare a few extra seconds and drive cautiously.
